Recipe Introduction
This is my favorite smoothie of all time. It is really a refreshing beverage to have on a hot summer's afternoon. In fact, Stuart and I frequently have this for lunch if we have had a late breakfast.
List of Ingredients
2 frozen bananas
14-16 frozen strawberries (large)
6 oz. low-fat vanilla yogurt
6 oz. orange juice
1 cup fat-free milk
3 tablespoons Honey or 4 packets Splenda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Recipe
Place yogurt, orange juice and milk in blender container. Add bananas, strawberries and Splenda or Honey.
Blend ingredients well. Serves 3
NOTE: This makes a very thick drink. If you would like it a little thinner, use fresh bananas rather than frozen ones.
