Buttermilk Pound Cake 2

List of Ingredients
4 Eggs
2 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Crisco
1 Cup Buttermilk
2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract
1/2 Teaspoon Soda Dissolved in 1 Tablespoon "warm Water" Not Hot
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
3 1/2 Cups All-purpose Flour
Recipe
Add above ingredients, one at a time, in the order as listed with mixer beating all the while. Be sure each ingredient is mixed in well before adding the next.
Bake in a Bundt cake pan at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour. Cake will rise and fall a bit; when it falls, it's done.
YIELD: 1 Bundt Pan Cake plus 1 small loaf pan.
For a change, you can add: 1 package chopped dates, 1 can coconut and 1 cup chopped pecans or chocolate chips or candied fruit/nuts.
