4 Tablespoons Butter
3/4 Cup Flour
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Dash Salt
1/2 Cup Evaporated Milk
1 1/2 Cups Blackberries (1 1/2 to 2)
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
Recipe
Melt butter in an 8-inch square baking dish in a preheated 325 degree oven.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Pour batter over the melted butter, top with the blackberries, then sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, until browned. Enjoy with a cup of steaming hot coffee.
