    3 1/2 Cups Milk
    2 1/2 Cups Basic Cornbread Mix
    2 Eggs, separated

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease a 1-1/2 quart
    casserole dish.

    Scald milk in a small saucepan. Gradually add Basic Cornbread Mix, stirring constantly. Continue cooking and stirring until mixture reaches the consistency of thick mush. Stir in egg yolks, one at a time. Remove from heat and stir in remaining one cup of milk.

    In a glass bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in cooked mixture. Put in prepared dish and bake one hour until golden brown.
