Cheese and Fruit Tray
Source of Recipe
My arrangement
For an attractive and tasty cheese tray, choose 3 to 4 cheeses of varying appearance, ranging in flavor from sharp to mild. Stick to firm cheeses such as Cheddar, Leyden, Deam, Gouda, Jarlsberg or Swiss (soft cheeses are messy). Figure on 2 ounces per guest.
Serve cheeses with an assortment of unsalted crackers and have several cheese cutters and knives on the board.
Accompany with easy-to-eat fruits such as grapes, cut in small bunches, and cherries. (You'll need about 6 pounds of each.)
Decorate the cheese board with lemon leaves. Store cheese wrapped and refrigerated. Bring to room temperature before serving.
