Chocolate Pecan Frosting

List of Ingredients
8 Oz. Butter (do Not Substitute)
8 Oz Baking Chocolate (preferably Moreau), broken up
32 Oz. Powdered Sugar, sifted
1/3 Cup Plus 3 Tablespoons Cream or Milk
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 Teaspoon Red Food Coloring
16 Oz. Chopped Pecans
Recipe
In deep saucepan, combine butter, chocolate, sifted powdered sugar, cream, vanilla, food coloring and pecans. Heat until melted, stirring to combine. Pour hot frosting on hot cake.
NOTE: If desired, 8 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa may be substituted for ½ pound chocolate in frosting.
