    List of Ingredients




    1 Large Can Evaporated Milk
    1 ½ Cups Granulated Sugar
    4 Egg Yolks, slightly beaten
    ¾ Cup Butter
    1 ½ Teaspoons Vanilla
    2 2/3 Cups Flaked Coconut (7 oz)
    1 ½ Cups Chopped Pecans

    Recipe



    Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in a large saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and golden brown, about 12 minutes; remove from heat

    Add coconut and pecans to the above, blending well. Cool until thick enough to spread, beating occasionally.

    YIELD: 4-1/2 Cups
