Best-Ever Chocolate Pie

--- Graham-Cracker Crust ---
1 Cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
2 Tablespoons Sugar
3 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine, melted
--- Chocolate Pie ---
3/4 Cup Sugar
2 Tablespoons Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1 Can Evaporated Milk (12 Oz)
1 Can Chocolate Syrup (5.5 oz)
3 Egg Yolks, beaten
1/4 Cup Butter or Margarine
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Whipping Cream
1/4 Cup Sifted Powdered Sugar

Graham Cracker Crust: Combine all crust ingredients; mix well and press into a 9-inch pie plate. Microwave at HIGH 1-1/2 minutes or until firm, giving dish a half-turn after 1 minute. Cool.
Chocolate Pie: Combine sugar, flour and salt in a microwave-safe mixing bowl; stir in milk, chocolate syrup and egg yolks. Microwave at MEDIUM (50% power) 8 to 10 minutes or until thick, stirring every 2 minutes with a wire whisk. Add butter and vanilla; stir until butter melts. Pour into graham cracker crust; chill thoroughly.
Before serving, beat whipping cream until foamy; gradually add powdered sugar, beating until soft peaks form. Pipe or dollop whipped cream onto pie; sprinkle with cocoa, if desired.
YIELD: One 9-inch pie
