Carolyn's Butterscotch Pie

List of Ingredients
2 Cups Milk, scalded
2 Eggs, well beaten
1 Dash Salt
3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
1 Cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 9" Baked Pie Shell
Recipe
Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch; add eggs and mix thoroughly. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
Cook over hot water until thick and smooth; cool. Add vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell and serve with whipped cream.
