Carolyn's Cranberry Pie

Recipe Introduction
This recipe was adapted from an old pioneer recipe. Good for the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays.
List of Ingredients
3 Cups Raw Cranberries
1 Cup Raisins
1 Cup Pecans, chopped
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
2 Cups Sugar
2 Tablespoons Flour
2 Cups Boiling Water
½ Stick Butter, softened
2 Baked 9" Pie Shells
1 Container Cool Whip
Recipe
Mix flour and sugar in a saucepan. Add cranberries, raisins, pecans, vanilla extract, boiling water and butter.
Heat ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes or until thickened.
Pour mixture into two baked pie shells. Cool pies and then top with Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
YIELD: 2 Generous Size Pies
