Cajun Chicken Strips

Recipe Introduction
I was experimenting in the kitchen one evening with some chicken strips I had purchased, and came up with this recipe. It was an instant hit with Stuart!
List of Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. Poultry seasoning
- ¾ tsp. garlic salt
- ½ tsp. Paprika
- ¼ tsp. Pepper
- 1/8 to ¼ tsp. Cayenne pepper
- 1½ lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into ½” strips
- 2 Tbsp. Butter, or margarine
- Italian parsley
- Chili peppers, optional
Instructions
- In a large, resealable plastic bag combine flour, poultry seasoning, garlic salt, paprika, pepper and cayenne pepper. Add chicken, half at a time, and shake to coat.
- In a large skillet, cook chicken in butter for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the juices run clear. Garnish with parsley and peppers, if desired.
Final Comments
This will serve 4 hungry adults.
