    Thousand Island Dressing

    Source of Recipe

    Internet

    Recipe Introduction

This tangy dressing is not only a snap to make, it's also quite versatile. Use it for dipping fresh vegetables or shrimp, or as a classic salad dressing. The small amount of reduced-fat mayonnaise adds to the richness of the taste. But, if you like, you can make a completely fat-free version without the mayonnaise.

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 cup catsup
    1/4 cup fat-free sour cream
    1 Tablespoon reduced-fat mayonnaise
    1/2 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 small garlic clove -- minced (optional)

    Recipe

In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients (including the garlic, if desired), and whisk together well to prevent lumps.

Refrigerate dressing for up to a week. After refrigeration, stir before using.
