    3 cups water
    6 cardamom pods
    6 whole cloves
    1 - 3" cinnamon stick
    3-4 teabags
    2-3 cups cream
    sugar to taste

    Recipe



    Put the water, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon stick into a
    medium sized saucepan. Bring water to boil, then simmer the
    spices for about 20-30 minutes. Lift out spices with small
    sieve or slotted spoon. Add teabags, and simmer for 3-5
    minutes (or longer, if you like really strong tea).
    Remove teabags. Add cream slowly until the tea is as
    'light' as you like, then heat it until just before it will
    boil. Serve immediately, each person sweetening to his/her
    taste. (Some folks add the sugar with the teabags- about
    1/3 cup, but as we have a family just full of diabetics,
    sugar/sweetener is added individually to the cup to taste)
