    This is a very sticky dough, use a hand mixer. It would be very messy to get out of the bread dough pan and doesn't have to be kneaded etc. It raises in the glass
    pans and you pop them in the micro one at a time for 6 min. Very easy to make.
    After baking, slice and freeze on a cookie sheet in freezer and then throw in a freezer bag.

    List of Ingredients




    2 packages active dry yeast (4 1/2 tsp bread machine yeast) 2-1/4 t = 1

    5 cups unsifted flour *

    1/4 tsp. baking soda

    1 Tbsp. sugar

    2 tsp. salt

    1/2 cup water

    2 cups milk

    cornmeal

    Recipe



    Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda. Heat liquids until
    very
    warm. (120-130 degrees) Add to

    dry mixture. Beat well. Stir in rest of flour (2 cups) to make a stiff
    batter. Spoon into two 8 1/2x 4 ½ inch

    glass loaf pans that have been greased and sprinkled with cornmeal.
    Sprinkle
    tops with cornmeal. Cover,

    let rise in warm place for 45 minutes. (I wrap each pan in two kitchen
    towels
    and place in a warm spot clear of drafts. )

    Microwave each loaf on high power for 6 minutes 30 seconds.

    Surface of loaf will be flat and pale in color. Allow to rest 5 minutes
    before removing from pans.

    Slice and toast. Makes 16 slices per loaf.
