HOMEMADE PIZZA BREAD

List of Ingredients
3/4 c. warm water (110~ to
115 degrees)
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1 2/3 c. lukewarm milk
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 c. soft shortening
6 1/2 to 7 c. sifted
all-purpose flour
Recipe
Measure warm water into large warm bowl. Add yeast,
stir to dissolve. Add milk, sugar, salt and shortening and 3
cups flour; beat until smooth. Add remaining flour; knead
smooth on floured board. Return to bowl. Cover, let rise
again. Knead down on lightly floured board. Divide in half,
roll out flat and add pizza sauce, shredded Mozzarella
cheese
and pepperoni. Then roll up to make a loaf. Place in greased
9 x 5 x 3-inch pan. Allow to raise until sides of dough
reach
top of pan. Bake in a 400 degrees oven for 30 minutes or
until
done.
Cool on wire racks. Makes 2 loaves.
