Recipe Introduction


This made-in-the-machine sweet bread is
delicious with tea, coffee or as a breakfast bread
toasted and slathered with jam.




List of Ingredients




1 cup evaporated milk
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons finely grated lemon rind
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ascorbic acid
3 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons instant yeast




Recipe



Place all of the ingredients into the pan of your
bread machine in the order suggested by the
manufacturer. Select "basic white" bread cycle,
and press "start."
