Three Dozen:
2 c. warm water
2/3 c. powdered milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 cakes yeast (or pkg. dry
yeast)
1 egg
1/4 c. soft shortening (or
oil)
6 to 7 c. flour
Six Dozen:
4 c. warm water
1 1/3 c. powdered milk
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. salt
4 cakes yeast (or pkg. dry
yeast)
2 eggs
1/2 c. soft shortening (or
oil)
13 to 14 c. flourRecipe
Blend warm water, powdered milk, sugar, salt and yeast
and allow to sit a few minutes until bubbly. Then add eggs,
shortening and flour. Make a soft dough. Refrigerate 1 to 2
hours or up to 3 days. Shape rolls. Raise 10 to 20 minutes.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
