    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2/3 c. nonfat dry milk
    1 Tbsp. salt
    5 to 6 c. unbleached white
    flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. warm water (not hot)
    3 Tbsp. oil

    Recipe



    Mix everything except flour with wooden spoon. Measure
    3 cups flour and mix for 2 minutes. Add 2 more cups flour.
    Have another cup ready. Work dough with fingers. Add a
    little
    flour when necessary. Knead dough about 10 minutes until
    smooth and shiny. Oil bowl and shape dough in ball. Turn in
    bowl and cover. Let set about 1 hour until double. Grease 2
    loaf pans. Punch down dough and cut into 2 pieces. Pat each
    into a rectangle, roll up, pinch seam, tuck ends under and
    put
    in pan. Cover and let rise until double, 20 to 30 minutes.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool on rack for 30
    minutes.
    Grandma Jagger uses white bread dough and makes fried bread.

    Just pinch off dough and fry in deep fat until golden brown.
