Serve this dessert warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on the
side......



List of Ingredients




1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbs. cocoa powder
2 tbs. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tbs. shortening, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup coca powder
1 3/4 cups hot water



Recipe



1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Add flour, sugar, 2 tbs. cocoa, baking powder and the salt in a
medium bowl. Blend in the milk and the shortening. Spread into an
ungreased 9x9x2 square pan.

3. Stir together brown sugar and the 1/4 cup cocoa. Sprinkle over the
batter. Pour the hot water on top and DO NOT STIR!!!

4. Bake 45 minutes. Enjoy!!
