    List of Ingredients




    Crust:
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 dash of salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans

    Filling:

    8 oz. cream cheese
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 pt. fresh strawberries

    Topping:

    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    red food coloring

    Recipe



    Melt margarine. Add flour, nuts, salt and sugar; mix
    well. Press into small pizza pan and bake at 350 degrees for

    12 to 15 minutes. Cool.
    Filling: Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool
    Whip; spread on crust. Arrange 1 pint of strawberries on top

    of filling.
    Topping: Combine 3/4 cup of sugar, cornstarch and water
    in a heavy saucepan and cook until a little thick (about 2
    minutes). Stir and watch or it will get too thick. Cool and
    add food coloring. Spread on top of fresh strawberries and
    chill.
