    Tuna Vegetable Pie

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 c. sliced carrots
    1 1/2 c. cubed pared potatoes
    in sm. amount of boiling salted water till tender.
    Drain, reserving liquid. Add enough
    milk to make 2 c. Melt
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    in saucepan; add
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    cook till tender but not brown. Blend in
    2 T. all purpose flour
    1/2 t. salt
    dash pepper
    1/4 t. dried rosemary, crushed

    Recipe



    Add milk mixture all at once. Cook, stirring
    constantly, till mixture thickens and bubbles.
    Add carrots, potatoes,
    1 (8 oz.) can peas, drained
    2 (6 1/2 or 6 oz.) cans tuna, drained and flaked
    Put into a 10x6x1 1/2" baking dish. Prepare
    1 stick pie crust mix
    according to pkg. directions. Roll out; cut into
    6 triangles Place around edge of tuna mixture.
    Bake at 425° for 30 to 35 min., or till lightly
    browned. Serves 6.
