List of Ingredients




cream together:

1 1/3 cup shortening
1 1/3 cups real butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar( packed)

then whip in:
4 eggs
4 tsp.vanilla

next add one at a time:
2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
6 cups all purpose flour
1 cup chopped nuts(optional)
2-4 cups chocolate chips

Mix well and drop on ungreased cookie sheet. bake at 350 for 8-10
minutes( my oven takes 7). cool 1 minute before removing from pan. when
cooled enough to stack, put into airtight container.
