List of Ingredients




1 cup butter -- must be butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 pound hazelnuts -- finely ground
2 1/2 cups cake flour
Thin Lemon or Orange Frosting
2 cups pistachio nuts -- chopped


Recipe



1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. Cream the butter with the sugar until fluffy. Work in the
hazlenuts and the flour to make a smooth dough.

3. Chill and roll to 1/8" thickness between 2 sheets of waxed paper.

4. Cut into small rounds or diamonds. Place on a cookie sheet and
bake for 10 - 15 miuntes, or until golden brown.

5. Cool and put 2 cookies together with apricot jam. Spread with
Thin Lemon Or Orange Frosting and sprinkle with pistachios.
