List of Ingredients




2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 2/3 cups flour
1/4 cup filberts -- finely ground
1/4 cup almonds, blanched -- slivered
1/4 cup lemon peel -- finely chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Thin Lemon or Orange Frosting


Recipe



1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. Beat eggs and sugar until thick.

3. Sift flour and cinnamon. Gradually add to the egg mixture.

4. Add other ingredients except frosting; knead until smooth.

5. Let stand overnight at room temperature.

6. Roll out on a floured surface to 1/4" thickness. Cut strips 1/2"
wide and 3" long. Bake on greased and floured cookie sheet for 30
minutes, or until golden brown. Frost while warm.
