3 cups flour
2 teaspoons soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla


Recipe



Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix flour with soda and salt. Cream
butter and sugars, add eggs and mix well. Add peanut butter, stir well.
Add flour mixture, mix to a stiff batter (it will be heavy), add
vanilla. Either form into balls and place on greased sheets or use a No. 20
dipper (available in housewares stores). Flatten with fork. Bake 15-18
minutes.
If you make into balls, recipe makes 4 dozen small cookies, with
the dipper about 4 dozen.
