List of Ingredients




1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 beaten eggs
4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla



Recipe



In a bowl, combine flour and salt. In another bowl, blend 1 cup sugar,
vanilla, and butter. Beat well. Stir in remaining sugar. Add eggs.
Blend in flour mixture. Mix thoroughly. Chill 1/2 hour. Roll out dough
thinly on a floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters and sprinkle tops with
colored sugar or the silver candy beads. Bake at 400 degrees on greased
cookie sheets for 12 minutes until lightly brown. Remove sheets to a
rack. With a greased spatula remove cookies carefully to a clean dry
towel and let cool thoroughly before stacking.
