Crockpot Teriyaki Steak

2 1/2 lbs Boneless chuck steak or 4 boneless chicken
breasts
left whole.
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Ground ginger
1/2 cup Soy sauce
1 tbsp Sugar
1 Clove garlic crushed
Recipe
Cut steak into 1/8-inch thick slices.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
Place meat in a crock-pot.
Pour sauce over.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Serve with rice.
If using chicken, check for doneness at 6 hours. Don't overcook.
