    UNLEAVENED FRENCH CRULLERS

    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    hot oil

    Recipe



    Place butter and salt in medium pot and melt over medium
    heat, watch carefully. Add flour and milk; stir until it
    leaves sides of pot and makes a ball. Remove from heat. Beat

    in eggs, one at a time, blending well each time. Let cool
    for
    5 minutes, then drop by teaspoons into 370 degrees oil.
    Brown,
    turning once or twice, until done and drain on paper towels.

    Dip in cinnamon sugar mix, if desired. Makes 12 Crullers
