Cinnamon Apple Salad

3/4 c. red cinnamon candy
2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
1 1/2 c. tart applesauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. mayonnaise
3/4 c. chopped celery
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Recipe
Dissolve candy in 3 c. boiling water in bowl.
Add gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
Stir in applesauce.
Pour half the gelatin mixture into 9x12" dish.
Chill until set.
Combine remaining ingredients and remaining gelatin mixture in bowl,
mixing well.
Pour over congealed layer.
Chill until firm.
Makes 8 servings.
