List of Ingredients
Main seasoning:
1.Take a 8 oz. jar or cup. Place in as the following:
4 oz. Heinz Ketchup
3 heaping tsp. prepaared mustard
3 heaping tsp. Cream style horseradish
3 level tsp. Worchestershire sauce
5 heaping tsp idozed salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
This should fill the cup If not, add more ketchup. Stir thoroughly
until
all ingredients are completely mixed. You now have the basic spices.
2nd:
place 5 pounds of ground beef in a flat bottom aluminum kettle. Recipe

sure the
beef has been run through the butcher's grinder 3 times so it is of
fine
consistency. Always use 85% lean and 15% suet. This is essential as
the
meat will cook up fine and the delicious seasonings will be evenly
distributed. (prepackaged 5 lb roll?)
3rd:
Put the 8 oz. jar of seasoning you just made into the kettle on top of
the
beef.
4th.
Fill the same jar with warm water, rinsing it around to get all the
fine
seasoning out and pour it in the kettle
5th. Next, fill the jar with finely ground yellow onions a
and empty into the kettle
6th: add a heaping tsp. of "Accent"directly on the meat in the kettle
accent
unlike popular belief is not a seasong it is 99% ppure monosodium
glutomate
what it actually does is open the taste buds on your tongue thus
bringing
out the flavor of the meat the fine seasons.
7th. take a wooden spoon to sit and mix all the ingredients in the
kettle
thoroughly
8th. put the kettle on your stove over a low flame and stir constantly
with
the wooden spoon for about 15 minutes or until the meat is borken apart
finely. then increase the heat about 1/4 until it comes to a boil. Let
boil
for 25 minutes stir with the wooden spoon every few minutes to assure
that
it doesn't stick to the bottom of the kettle and to avoid lumps.
9th: now take your buns and slice them not quite clear through. Leave
about
1/4 of an inch hinge.
10.th. Put prepared mustard in a sauce dish. using the back side of a
tsp.
pick up a small amount of mustard open the bun and smear a very light
amount
or the mustard on the middle portion of the bun.
11th. then put one or two slices of heinz hamburger pickle in the bun.
12: take regular metal straining spoon and dip into the kettle to get
the
right amount of meat. place meat in the bun and close shakae off any
meat
that extends over the side of the bun. now u have a delicious Onion
Chip
Dip.
Onion chip dip
1 lb. cottage cheese
1 lb sour cream
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
mix well and refrigerate
