I then put it in a sugarless pie dough. Cut the dough in a circle and
fold
over. Crimp the edge with a fork. I brush mine with egg to make it
golden
brown. I cook them until they are golden and take them out. You are
really
cooking just the dough anyway. I let them cook and freeze them
Pasties don't have a sauce in them. I added gravy because if you use
leftovers, they dried out on the second cooking.
