Hi, I am a lump of noodle dough........
I am created from
3 cups of flour.
3 large eggs
water [ start with a third of a cup ,add more as
necessary] mix
together until I am elastic .
Then please let me rest let rest .
Next please knead me until I am so elastic you can
roll me out cut
me into your desired shape,
and t you will find you love me I am easy , cheap and
classic.
What can you do with me....1,000s of things you roll
me very , very
thin and cut me into squares and have wonton
wrappers... with these
you can make hundred of versions of egg rolls, stuffed
won ton, fried
won ton ,dessert roll ups, steamed dumplings ,shred
me and have stir
fry noodles.
roll me a little thicker and you can make me into
raviolis, perogis,
mannicotti shells, tortellini,and
if you cut me into a square and pinch [I wouldn't
scream] and seal
two opposite ends together , let dry, you can have me
as your own
version of
jumbo shells.
if you own a pasta maker you can make me into
spaghetti,macaroni,
penne,lots of shapes
Roll me a little thicker still and make homemade
noodles,including
lasanga.
You can cut me wide or thin...if you cut me thin and
twist and dry
me...you will see me as a curly noodle
You can add vegtable puree to me and I become
colorful and get a new
taste of life
I think I must be heavenly because you can make me
into angel hair.
Even still I always seem to end up in hot water....
