List of Ingredients
1 pound lean beef (ground or cubed...your preference)
1 clove crushed garlic
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt (I prefer sea salt and/or kosher salt)
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
8 ounces fine egg noodles
1/2 cup cream cheese (4 ounce package)
1 cup sour cream
6 (or 1 bunch) scallions/green onions
grated cheese of your choice
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a medium pan, saute meat and garlic at medium heat until no pink
remains in the meat....pour off excess fat, saving some for flavor
Add seasonings to taste and tomato sauce
Mix together in bowl the cream cheese, sour cream and scallions...
Cook noodles in separate pan...do NOT undercook....and drain
Grease a 2 quart casserole dish...place about a third of the
noodles...then same with noodles and cheese mixture...repeating until
all ingredients (except grated cheese) are used...
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes until hot and bubbly...
Serve with grated cheese of your choice on top as desired...
