3/4 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon sugar
Pinch of garlic salt
Several dashes hot pepper sauce
Sprinkling of cayenne pepper
4 to 5-pound leg of lamb
Salt and pepperRecipe
1. Boil water, vinegar, Worcestershire, dry mustard, salt, sugar,
garlic
salt, hot pepper sauce, and cayenne pepper for about two minutes.
2. Place leg of lamb in roasting pan. Salt and pepper lamb.
3. Spoon sauce over meat.
4. Roast in 350 degree oven for 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Baste once or twice.
5. Make gravy with pan drippings and serve over sliced meat.
Hint: This marinade is also great with beef, especially shish kabobs.
