1 env. (2 to a pkg.) mushroom soup mix
1 T. instant minced onion
1 (4 lb.) chuck beef roast, cut 1 1/2" thick


Recipe



Combine dry soup mix and onion on a sheet
of heavy foil, about 24x18. Roll roast in
mixture to coat well, then wrap loosely,
sealing edges well. Place on a cookie sheet
for easy handling. Bake at 350° 3 hours.
Remove from oven; reset temp. control to
Broil. Slit foil across top and fold back,
being careful not to let gravy run out. Broil
roast 5 min. or until top is brown. Carve into
1/4" thick slices; serve with gravy from foil
pkg. Makes 8 servings.
