Teriyaki Meatballs

1 T. soy sauce
1 T. water
2 t. sugar
1/4 t. instant minced onion
dash garlic salt
dash msg. (opt.)
dash ground ginger
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. fine soft bread crumbs
salt oil
Recipe
Combine soy sauce, water, sugar, onion,
garlic salt, msg., and ginger; let stand
10 min. Combine ground beef and bread
crumbs; stir in soy mixture. Shape into
3/4" meatballs. Spear meatballs on
bamboo skewers; cook in deep hot fat
(375°) in a fondue pot about 1 1/2 min.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen balls.
