eup all foods in fridge...no waste.

FRENCH SLICED GREEN BEANS...25 cents
Ricky and I love the beans in country gravy or white sauce.
He calls them green noodles.
CRANBERRY TEA...10 cents

Am using two large baked russet potatoes[ 10 cents apound]
from in the fridge, will cook red onions and sautee
potatoes slices with parsley. Jared will not have parsley
"as he hates little green things in his food"

Fresh bananas slices and canned mandarian slices.

BEAN SOUP IN BAKED DUMPLING SQUASH...15 cents.
Soup is a freebies as cost counted in another meal, squash
about 15 cents.
This is "ENCORE" thick bean and bacon soup served in small
individual dumpling squashes bought November 1,2004 for 12
cents a pound.
SALAD....60 cents
The salad consists of iceberg luttuce, english cucumbers,
red onions [also bought Nov,1, 2004 for 20 cents a pound ]
blue cheese, catalina like dressing, baby organic carrots.
HOMEADE WARM CORN BREAD WITH REAL BUTTER AND HONEY
WATER....10 cents
LEMON ICE TEA...5 cents
MINI ICE CREAM BANANA SPLITS...60 cents.
split banana halves mini scoops of ice cream, fruit
toppings and hot fudge sauce with whipped cream dollops. Use
1/2 cup of fruit per person.

VEGETARIAN PIZZA....90 CENTS
Buying pizza is a budget rip off. You can make your's for
pennies on the dollar.
A pound of pizza dough will cost you 15-25 cents to make: a
pound of dough is 8 servings.
Each person needs 1 ounce of cheese and at least 4 ounces of
veggies. This is a good healthy entree .
We are using carmelized yellow onions, assorted colored
chopped bell peppers from freezer and frozen tomatoes, mine
and Ricky's pieces will have chopped black olives from
freezer and cooked mushrooms. We will use shredded
mozzeralla and parmesan cheeses.
Ours will cost under 40 cents for cheese, about 20 cents
for veggies, 10 cents for sauce 20 cents for dough [we are
having whole wheat], That is 90 cents for a large pizza. I
am a diabetic so I will have just one piece and have my
cheese share and veggies on it.
This is why tracking your serving sizes is so very
important. a pound of mozzeralla has 16 once servings.
always check package as servings can vary by manufacturer.
ANTIPASTA....38 CENTS
Canned artichoke hearts, organic baby carrots, marnitated
green beans, avocados, black olives, green olives and cream
cheese and pineapple stuffed english cucumber rings.
MUGS OF GARLIC/ TURKEY BROTH...5 CENTS
Mixing garlic broth from freezer and turkey broth for a nice
hot beverage, a twist of lemon or lime is nice. turkey broth
is free.
