Cheesy Lasagne

1/2 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 t. salt
4 c. milk
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese (4 oz.)
1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz.)
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 c. creamed cottage cheese (sm. curd)
1/4 c. snipped parsley
1 t. dried basil leaves
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. dried oregano leaves
2 cloves garlic, crushed
12 uncooked lasagne noodles
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Recipe
Heat margarine in 2 qt. saucepan over
low heat until melted. Stir in flour and
1/2 t. salt. Cook, stirring constantly,
until smooth and bubbly; remove from
heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling,
stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 min.
Stir in Swiss cheese, mozzarella cheese
and 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese. Stir over
low heat until cheeses are melted. Mix
cottage cheese, parsley, basil, 1/2 t.
salt, the oregano and garlic. Spread 1/4
of the cheese sauce mixture in
ungreased 13x9x2" baking dish; top with
4 uncooked noodles. Spread 1 c. of the
cottage cheese mixture over noodles;
spread with 1/4 of the cheese sauce
mixture. Repeat with 4 noodles, the
remaining cottage cheese mixture, 1/4
of the cheese sauce mixture, the
remaining noodles and the remaining
cheese sauce mixture. Sprinkle with 1/2
c. Parmesan cheese. Cook uncovered in
350° oven until noodles are done, 35 to
40 min. Let stand 10 min. before cutting.
