List of Ingredients
1 container (15 oz.) ricotta cheese
2 eggs
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 T. chopped fresh parsley
1 T. chopped fresh or 1 1/2 t. dried oregano leaves
2 jars (26 oz. ea.) tomato pasta sauce (any variety)
1 c. water
12 uncooked lasagna noodles
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz.)
Recipe
Heat oven to 350°. In sm. bowl, mix
ricotta cheese, eggs, 1/2 c. Parmesan
cheese, the parsley and oregano. In lg.
bowl, mix pasta sauce and water. In
ungreased 13x9" (3 qt.) glass baking
dish, spread 2 c. of the pasta sauce
mixture. Top with 4 uncooked noodles;
spread half of the ricotta mixture over
noodles. Spread 2 c. pasta sauce
mixture over ricotta mixture; top with
4 noodles and spread with remaining
ricotta mixture. Top with 2 c. pasta
sauce mixture and remaining 4
noodles. Spread with remaining pasta
sauce mixture. Cover baking dish with
foil. Bake 30 min. Sprinkle with 1/4 c.
Parmesan cheese and the mozzarella
cheese. Bake uncover about 30 min.
longer or until hot in center. let stand
15 min., before cutting. Makes 8
servings.
