2 cans (16 oz.) Bush's best chili beans
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
1/2 c. water
1/2 t. black pepper
1 t. salt
1 T. chili powder
2 t. oregano
1 t. sugar
shredded cheddar cheese (garnish)
Recipe
In lg. pan cook beef, onion and green
pepper until meat is browned. Drain. Stir
in remaining ingredients, except cheese.
Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and
simmer for 20 min. Garnish with cheese.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
