    Recipe Introduction

Sprouts are live, germinated food, grown in your own
    kitchen.
Make a bunch and freeze them for later. Cook them in
soy sauce adding garlic powder, onion powder, and mushrooms, then freeze. Or just toss them in a plastic bag and freeze raw.

    List of Ingredients

    1 qt. mason jar
    cheesecloth
    rubberband
    alfalfa seed or mung beans

    Recipe

Put 3 tablespoons mung beans or alfalfa seed in
    quart
jar. Cover beans with water. Let stand overnight.
Next Day: Put a piece of cheesecloth on opening of jar
and secure with rubberband. Drain all water out. Rinse once
or twice a day. Drain well after rinsing, put in dark place.
    (Sometimes place jar on side.)
Third Day: You should have sprouts. Place in refrigerator to
keep. Start another jar. You can sprout any seed that
    has not been treated.
