List of Ingredients
2 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 med. onions, chopped (1 c.)
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. all purpose flour
5 c. milk
6 c. cream style cottage cheese
4 lbs. cooked ham, cubed (8 c.)
16 oz. med. noodles, cooked and drained
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
Recipe
Cook vegs. in 1/2 c. butter till tender;
blend in flour, 1 t. salt, and 1/8 t. pepper.
Stir in milk and cottage cheese; cook
and stir till boiling. Stir in ham and
noodles; put into two 3 qt. casseroles.
Combine butter and crumbs; sprinkle
over top of each. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Makes 24 servings.
