    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. sliced bacon
    2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 (1 lb. 12 oz.) cans tomatoes
    5 c. water
    1 lb. (5 c.) uncooked pkged. precooked rice
    1 c. chili sauce
    1 T. salt
    1/4 t. pepper
    1 T. brown sugar
    2 t. Worcestershire sauce
    8 oz. sharp process American cheese, shredded (2 c.)

    Recipe



    Cook bacon till crisp; drain. Pour off all
    but 1/2 c. bacon fat. In remaining fat,
    cook onion and green pepper till tender.
    Add remaining ingredients except cheese.
    Pour mixture into two 13x9x2" baking
    dishes. Cover; bake at 350° 25 to 30
    min., or till rice is done. Crumble bacon;
    sprinkle each dish with half the bacon,
    then cheese. Return to oven to melt
    cheese. Serves 25.
