    1 cup white hominy grits
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 cup cold water
    2 cups hot milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 tblsp. butter or margarine

    Recipe



    1. Combine hominy grits with the salt and cold water in a heavy saucepan. Stir until smooth, then stir in the hot milk. Cook and stir over low heat until mixture begins to thicken.
    2. Remove from heat; add eggs and butter. Beat until well blended. Turn into a well greased 1 quart casserole.
    3. Bake at 350 F. for 45 minutes, or until center is set. Serve hot with plenty of butter.
    About 6 servings.
