New Orleans Onion Soup

List of Ingredients
2 Bermuda onions, thinly sliced
3 tbsp. butter
1 pint well-seasoned chicken broth
1 pint milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup creamRecipe
Cook onions in butter until soft but not brown. Add broth and simmer gently. Add milk, salt and pepper. Reheat over hot water. A few minutes before serving time, add cream and reheat. Serve hot.
