    Peas with Sweet Basil

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup sliced green onions with tops
    2 tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 pkg. frozen green peas, partially thawed
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. sweet basil
    1 tbsp. snipped parsley
    1/4 cup water

    Recipe



    Cook green onion in hot butter in a skillet. Add peas and break apart with fork. Stir in mixture of sugar, salt, pepper, basil and parsley, then water. Bring to boiling. Cook, tightly covered, about 10 minutes, or until peas are just tender.
