    Cake mixture:
    One (1) package Yellow Cake Mix (Duncan Hines is good)
    One (1) package lemon Jello
    3/4 cup oil
    3/4 cup water
    4 eggs

    Lemon topping mixture:
    Mix 2 cups powdered sugar with 1/2 cup lemon juice.

    Recipe



    Put all cake mixture ingredients in large bowl. Blend. Beat 6 minutes at Medium speed. Use 8 1/2" x 11" pan, or square pan that holds approximately same amount.

    Wipe inside of cake pan with oil, dust flour over it - getting loose flour out as much as possible to keep cake from sticking to pan.

    Bake 350 - for 45 minutes.

    Take cake out when done. While hot, pierce with fork about 3 times across and 8 times lengthwise. Pour lemon mixture over hot cake. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
