    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 cups cornmeal
    1/2 cup cooking oil
    1 large can tomatoes
    clove of garlic

    1 #2 can of cream-style corn
    2 small or 1 large green pepper
    1 can hot sauce
    1 t salt
    2 cups ripe olives (1 can pitted)
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 small onion
    Chili seasoning to taste

    Recipe



    Put half of cooking oil in large sauce pan and add corn and tomatoes. Heat slowly.

    Put rest of cooking oil in skillet and saute onion, garlic, green peppers until tender, but not browned. To this mixture add the meat, hot sauce and seasonings and cook slowly for 20 minutes.

    While this is cooking, add cornmeal slowly to the tomatoes and corn mixture, stirring constantly, and cook slowly for 15 minutes. Then combine the two mixtures, add the olives either whole or cut up.

    Pour into greased casserole dish and bake in 250 degree oven for 45 minutes.
