    1/4 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1 cup dairy sour cream
    2 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 cup chopped cashews
    3/4 cup split cashews

    Recipe



    Cream together the butter and sugar; beat in eggs until light and fluffy. Add sour cream. Stir flour and soda together; and add to creamed mixture. Fold in chopped cashews. Drop by rounded teaspoons on to a greased baking sheet. Press a split cashew on top of each cookie. Bake in 375 over for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks and brush top with.

    Butterscotsh Glaze - Boil 1/3 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons water. Stir mixture occasionally as it comes to a boil.

    (Don't pack cookies until glaze is completely set)
