    Layered Mexican Dip

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 can refried beans
    • 1 small bottle of taco sauce (medium or hot)
    • 1 lb browned ground beef seasoned with ...
    • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
    • hot pepper cheese
    • cheddar cheese
    • monterey jack cheese, shredded
    • hot pepper rings
    • green onions, chopped fine


    Instructions


    1. Line 9 x 13 casserole dish with beans. Mash with fork. Top with ground beef mixture and taco sauce.

    2. Spread evenly over beans. Add hot pepper rings and chopped onions.

    3. Layer cheese on top and bake for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees.

    4. Serve with nacho chips and, if desired, top with chopped black olives, chopped tomatoes and sour cream.



    Final Comments


    Garnishes may be served on the side.
    Salsa may be used instead of taco sauce or add some salsa for extra flavor.
